Congrats, you've found the blog that will eventually turn into Aggie Japan Radio (or perhaps some more awesome catchy title). Anywho, here's the deal:
This blog will be maintained by a couple of Japanese students at Texas A&M University. Here we will be posting a series of podcasts about Japanese music and culture. The podcasts themselves will most likely be at least partly in Japanese, so we'll try to post translations for those of you who don't speak Japanese. As of now, I can't say how often we'll be posting, as we do have classes to study for and homework to do, but we'll try to keep a fairly regular posting schedule (please note that regular does not necessarily mean often). If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for the show, feel free to email us at
aggiejapanradio@gmail.com. I'd especially love if you guys owuld focus on the last part, the suggestions. I love Japanese music, but there's a lot of stuff I don't know or listen to. If you want to hear it, you have to tell us.
Also, keep in mind that we are a) students and b) amateurs. It's pretty likely that we're gonna screw up something or other, be it our speech or the technical aspect. We will accept criticism gladly, but please, be nice about it. We don't need flaming or ranting clogging up either the comment pages or our inbox. We reserve the right to ignore you completely and delete your posts and emails if you do.
Okay, warning aside, we're looking forward to getting started and we hope you guys enjoy the show. We're still in the planning phases, but we'll get the first show up as soon as we can.
